While B.F. Skinner strongly encourages the use of behavioral engineering in his book, Walden Two to come up with a possible solution of any problem encountered, A Clockwork Orange condemns this greatly. In controversial to this, Skinner had greatly Skinner encouraged the use of behavioral engineering to come up with solutions to problems through community which he calls as Walden Two.

Despite several criminal activities carried out by Alex and his droops, A Clockwork Orange, discourage behavioral engineering, this is seen clearly when Alex is send to the doctor for the second time so as to be treated due to injuries that he suffered as a result of behavioral engineering that he had undergone in while in the prison.

Therefore, if I was Skinner, I would have come up with a revised edition of my book stating clearly on how and when behavioral engineering is supposed to be done. I could also have disqualified the ideas of A Clockwork Orange that behavioral engineering has got negative effects to the victim and the society at large by using clear and modern examples in my books.

I will further encourage the use of behavioral engineering particularly in the developed countries where crime rates are high with immense atmospheric effects such as air pollution. I will encourage this by strictly discouraging and criticizing all negative attitudes and aspects proposed and stipulated by A Clockwork Orange towards these significant and beneficiary practice of behavioral engineering. A part from writing books, I would have used national magazines, journals, media and any other possible means to advertize and carryout campaigns seeking implementation and incorporation of this practice in all private and public hospital and health centers. I could have also encouraged all prisons and jails to use this as a means of reducing criminal practices across the world.
