Question 2:

CHOICES is a quality healthcare program dedicated for Alchua County’s uninsured working class. Categorized to be a community-level program, CHOICES provides uninsured workers with access to several healthcare services in the county.

In a way, the community level of intervention works best for the considerable aspect of choice of service that the foundation takes simply because of the fact that it hopes to affect a majority of members of the society while it also hopes to involve as much individuals and institutions as possible to the program. Unlike the interpersonal level, the motivation of the foundation to provide ample assistance to a number of uninsured individuals in the workforce is a desire that only community level intervention could meet. Interpersonal level of intervention deals more with the capability of an individual to help out through and informed decision, while on the other end, community level intervention deals with the empowerment of the masses which is needed in the pursuance of the mission of the organization.

This could be further given proof through examining the process of the organization in gaining the attention of the society to help along with their cause. Through the help of several partnerships around the county, this program continues to provide assistance to those who are in need of dental care, basic hospitalization needs and other healthcare essentials that individuals basically need to survive.

Prevention is always better than cure, as they always say, is also reflective of the fact that preventing people from gaining any terminal ailments is the perfect shield to protecting social funds towards supporting other programs that are dedicated to further developing the lifestyle of the people. True with the aim of the organization founded upon the desire to improve the healthy living of the people, community level intervention is in fact effective as it draws the attention not from individuals but from the majority of the members of the community, which makes the campaign much stronger and the results more refined.
