Evidence and Its Usefulness in Program Planning, Coursework Example

In the field of psychology, it is very important that every individual involved in a particular study be considered in relation to the connection that he or his background has to the study being conducted. It is only through this process that specific evidence garnered from he said individuals could be used for legitimate research (Kara, 2012). In a way, evidence is the proof that indicates whether or not the pursuance of a particular program is necessary (Creswell, 2008). Considerably, without the evidence, the full proof that a particular problem does exist cannot be established.

This is why it is very important to make sure that any study being pursued would be supported well by existing evidences. These tools are supposed to strengthen the condition of implementing a resolution or a program that could resolve particular issues that are being explored accordingly. The consistency of a researcher’s capacity to chose the right evidence to use depending on the study being conducted plays a great role in determining the value of the research accordingly (Garraghan,1996). With the effective utilization of data collecting tools, creating valid evidences and presenting them as the backbone of the study will make the research even more applicable in actual settings.

For instance, psychologists might observe that the increase in cases of suicide have been affecting individuals under the age of 25 during a specific span of time. In the desire of resolving the issues and problems related to the matter, the psychologists need to make sure that they have enough evidence to support their assumption. Through such approach, the target individuals to be helped could be given attention to as the study pursues on determining the lying cause behind the rising condition being explored, thus making the entire research valuable enough for the society to take notice of .
