Give the Kids the World is a resort which has been created in the form of a storybook. It is a not for profit organization. It is located in proximity of the most popular tourist attractions of Central Florida. Give the Kids the World Village is a resort which specializes in the treatment of life imperilling illnesses. At the Give the Kids the World Village, the children and their families are invited to seven day free fantasy retreats (Give the Kids the World, 1).
The organization is structured as flat organization. The members of the Executive Advisory Board is at the top line of the organizational chart. The members of the Executive Advisory Board occupy the numbers from 1- 18 on the organizational chart. The members of the Directors of the Board occupy numbers 19- 39 on the organizational chart. The organization’s officers occupy numbers 36 and 40 – 46 on the organizational chart (Give the Kids the World, 1).
The functions of personnel numbers 1- 18 which are delineated on the chart are the Executive Advisory Board. The numbers correspond to the names and the positions of each of the members of the Executive Advisory Board. The majority of the members of the Executive Advisory Board and the Board of Directors are from corporate leadership of organizations across the United States. The personnel of the Leadership Team at Give the Kids the World, Inc. compose numbers 40- 46 on the organization chart. Mrs. Landwirth is number 36. She is the President of Give the Kids the World, Inc. ((Give the Kids the World, 1).
- Amy Racicot is the Chief Financial Officer.
- Kathleen Tagle is the Chief Marketing Officer.
- Caroline Schumacher is the Vice President of Operations.
- Christopher Moyson is the Vice President of Information Technology.

The jobs are defined on the organizational chart are in the functions of three categories. The first category is the Executive Advisory Board. The second category is the Board of Directors. The third and final category is the leadership team. Mrs. Pamela Landwirth holds two positions. She is on the Board of Directors and she is President of the organization. Mr. Henri Landwirth is the Chairman Emeritus and Mr. Michael J. Short is the Chairman. The coordinating role is the Presidency, which is occupied by Mrs. Pamela Landwirth (Give the Kids the World, 1).
Pamela Landwirth is guided by a quote which states: “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world” (qtd. Give the Kids the World 1). Pamela Landwirth applies the quote which originated with Anne Frank as she leads and motivates the personnel of Give the Kids the World. The staff at give the children the world is composed of more than 15, 000 volunteers and a substantial number of corporate sponsors. Pamela Landwirth has the position which has the greatest amount of responsibility. Pamela Landwirth has served as President of Give the Kids the World since 1995. As the President of Give the Kids the World, Mrs. Landwirth has been the person who has been accountable for the functions of the Give the Kids the World Village and all of the strategic approaches in which the organization is engaged (Give the Kids the World, 1).
Mrs. Landwirth has experience in resort operations administration, project planning and human resource administration. The experiential knowledge that Mrs. Landwirth brings to the village team is derived from her sixteen years as a member of the administrative staff at the Walt Disney World organization. In addition to her twenty years of experience as President of the Give the Kids the World organization, Mrs. Landwirth has experience in human resource management and strategic design at the Hard Rock Cafe. Mrs. Landwirth received a B.A. in History with the University of Georgia, in addition to receiving her MBA from Rollins College (Give the Kids the World, 1).
