The end result of the larger sample size survey found that 18 out of 300 moviegoers hold the same argument as Tommy’s. This leads to a finding of 6% of the random sample to agree with Tommy, therefore showing that a substantial portion does not agree with Tommy. He is a “voice in the wilderness.” The consortium should proceed to defend any lawsuits put forth by Tommy, as they originally stated.

This was determined by statistical analysis from the data that was collected from the sample size, and as a result found that the sample size should not be ignored and gives Mr. Plex and the consortium cause to fight against the lawsuit.The larger sample size determines the viability of the data and acceptance of the hypothesis. Therefore it is important to consider possible issues with sample size when conducting this research as evidence in their case against Tommy.
