Compare the current demographics of the health provider workforce and services to projections of the needs for the next two decades. Describe one major change

Currently, majority of healthcare providers come from between the ranges of 29 to 45. Relatively, it could be understood that somehow the rate of individuals finishing their studies and graduating from universities come out between the ages 25 to 29. From this point, they are expected to already have necessary experiences that would make them capable of handling simple to more complex cases in the facilities that they are working for (Bond, et al, 1994). Most likely, in the coming years, the expansion of online learning options that are dedicated to nursing courses could actually help in lowering down the age of the individuals who are to enter the healthcare workforce.

It is assumed that with younger individuals in the workforce, there would be much easier process of completing matters in a fast manner. Increasing their capacity to resolve health issues could actually be given attention to through constant involvement to critical health cases and rigorous regular training (Simmons, 2009). Involvement in actual cases would further increase their understanding over the real world; something that cannot be fully accomplished in the regular classroom setting (Bond, et al, 1994). The emergence of revolutionary teaching is expected to make valuable change on how the operation of healthcare facilities functions for the sake of improving the way patients are served.  Considerably, it could be understood that patients are the primary stakeholders to how the industry of healthcare actually works. Notably, people coming into the industry are able to create distinct impact on how the concept of healthcare service is redefined through time (Simmons, 2009). Understandably, it could be noted that somehow with the emergence of modern education options for nurses and medical students such change in the healthcare development could be expected.
