Regent’s College London is one of the top schools in the United Kingdom, it is well respected among the private colleges. It is composed of seven schools and a world-class conference center (Laws, 2008). This is located within their campus located in central London. Regent’s College claims to offer all their students whatever it is they need to fulfill their academic and personal potential.
The college offers a wide range of courses which include both British and American degrees. These can be taken up at an undergraduate or a post-graduate level (Post-Graduate Search, 2010). Regent’s College boasts of its dynamic international environment, which is sustained to nurture their students’ needs.
Mission Statement
As an academic institution, Regents College London aims to be a leading, independent, non-profit Higher Education Institution. Its purpose and direction is to develop the global leaders of “tomorrow”. The college claims to provide a teaching environment which is of high quality in order to develop internationally-aware, innovative and employable graduates.
The College has five main strategic goals:

They are able to execute these by creating a student-centered environment, which is accessible to all individuals from diverse age groups, cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. Regent’s College claims to sustain a personalized approach to education. This is done by offering smaller classes in order to create close relationships between faculty and students. They are able to develop educational programs which combine theory with practice in which they hope to instill in their students a spirit of systematic inquiry (Laws, 2008).
Regent’s College encourages all creativity and individual enterprise in their students as well as their faculty. By promoting international perspectives in their curriculum, they hope to achieve their goals of internationalism (Laws, 2008). The College cultivates their students to think critically, to respect diversity, and to understand each as well as embrace others’ values. To ensure academic excellence, they foster in their students the desire to learn, which is paired with a commitment. This contributes actively to the students’ communities as well as the world.
How They Achieve Their Goals
The Regent’s College London not only provides students’ with education, but they ground their studies in the liberal arts tradition. This tradition is to help students embrace their academic breadth as well as their intellectual depth (Laws, 2008).
The method of teaching at Regent’s College generates a learning climate, this is made possible by the highly qualified and experienced faculty which facilitate learning. The learning environment is said to be informed by a multi-national student population in a location which supplements the curriculum. The college claims that a multicultural city such as London can bring new perspectives and great opportunities for their students.
Mostly, the Regent’s College London cares deeply about the learning experiences of their students. They believe that learning is developed in small sized classes, using interactive approaches for more participation on the part of the students. They also provide tutorial support if the student call for it.

Conclusion
The Regent’s College London achieves its mission of academic excellent by facilitating students in smaller sized classrooms, in which they believe an intimate style of learning can gear students’ inquiry and nurture a students’ learning process. Their international and global perspectives are reached by being open to diversity and encourage all students from different parts of the globe to share their culture. Their management and sustainability is seen by developing programs which are diverse and encourage students participation and involvement, with the incorporation of practice and theory. The college encourages creativity which is geared towards their academic excellence. They provide this with a suitable learning environment in a city which offers a new perspectives and opportunities. They believe that by instilling their goals in students, they can facilitate to their students whom they believe will be global leaders of tomorrow, and in turn the public will benefit.
