School Psychologist, Cover Letter Example

First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to apply for this internship position. After carefully going through the requirements of the position, I am confident I possess the skills to fulfill the requirements of the position. My academic and work experiences provide me with a solid foundation that will ensure my performance at the highest levels.

I am currently pursuing my Masters in Psychology after successfully completing my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College, CUNY. In addition, I have had the opportunity to work in both formal work environments as well as with private clients. I have worked with a wide variety of groups including construction companies, office workers, individual clients, and children which have helped me develop strong communication and social skills. I am also familiar with a wide range of tests psychologists employ such as WISC III, WISC IV, and Rorschach Test.

In addition to diverse work experiences such as an assistant to an accounting professional and tutor to kids, I have also strengthened my credentials through volunteering activities includingfund-raising drives and motivational presentations to middle school students. Thus, this internship will not be my first time working with students from different age groups.
