The report provides a framework for integrating nursing education into practice settings. Nurses must consistently seek new opportunities for education and knowledge formation in working with patients and their colleagues. Furthermore, communication is a critical factor in the development of discussions regarding care and treatment strategies, evidence-based practice, and other forms of knowledge that support nursing practice. Open and active communication between nurses is essential to their delivery of care and their ability to be effective in sharing information with others through all forms of communication, including conversations, public speaking, emails, and documentation. These factors are an important component in enabling nurses to be successful in their practice settings through new directions and approaches to common nursing practice problems. When nurses communicate effectively, they are likely to have a positive impact on each other and on their patients over time.

From a personal perspective, I am continuously putting my own stamp on nursing through my actions, professional demeanor, and my area of focus. This is an ongoing process and it continues to expand with my own path of professional development. Branding is critical to the Doctorate of Nursing Practice because many persons might not recognize the value, knowledge, and expertise that this group offers to nursing practice. This group must be branded in such a way that they are viewed as knowledge experts with an opportunity to actively contribute to nursing practice in a positive manner. This advanced role is a critical component of nursing practice and supports continuous growth and development to enable nurses to gain much-needed respect and focus within their practice. Therefore, promoting doctoral-level nurses through promotion and knowledge generation are the most important contributors to the success of nursing practice and the objectives that are most critical to achieve success in the practice setting on a continuous basis.
