Automotive Engineers

They are the type of engineers responsible for improved or new designs of transmissions, vehicle structures, vehicle systems, or engines with the use of technology that is computer-assisted. They also modify, test, and build the components of vehicles directly. Automotive engineers have various job activities. They interact with computers especially in programming, entering data, setting up functions, writing software, and processing information. Automotive engineers are also responsible for acquiring, analyzing, and processing data. After analyzing data, they decide on the ways to handle the information. Additionally, they communicate with peers, subordinates, or supervisors and ensure that the equipment, technical devices, and parts are drafted, laid out, and specified.

I was surprised by the activities carried by automotive engineers. They have many duties at their disposal. The duties they carry out are not the ones I expected. I thought they only handled machines and not the other activities such as analyzing and processing data. The occupation is interesting but very tiring.

Dermatologists

Dermatologists play the role of diagnosing and treating diseases related to the nails, skin, and hair. Sometimes they perform dermatological and medical-surgical operations. The activities of dermatologists include treating chronic diseases and prescribing medications for patients. Dermatologists are responsible for advising medical personnel on the type of healthcare problems they are dealing with and how they can handle them. Similarly, dermatologists are responsible for the maintenance of medical knowledge, conducting surgeries on patients with severe conditions, ordering clinical or medical diagnostic tests. They ensure that patients are examined and their general physical conditions assessed.

I find the job interesting as it provides room for interaction. I am not surprised by the kind of activities carried out by the dermatologists since I expected to be all-around in medical matters. I am interested in learning more about dermatologists.
