Brief Overview

Boston children hospital was established in the year 1869 with 20 beds in Boston South End. The hospital is currently ranked as one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States. It offers a variety of health care services for the infants, children and adolescents. The main mission of the hospital is to render the highest degree of health care services, conduct research and make discoveries in the pediatric medicine. The hospital has a number of features that makes it deserve the ranking as one of the best hospitals in the United States. The hospital offers a perfect range of services via more than 200 special clinical programs. Every year, the institution admits about 25,000 in-patients who are attended to by over 400 pediatricians across the state and the surrounding hospitals. This hospital is ranked number 1 amongst the children hospitals in 7 of the 10 specialists that were evaluated by the 2013- 2014 edition of the best children’s hospitals in the of the United States.
