Etzioni (2007) feels that history is not as concrete and definitive as we may perceive it to be. There may be some alterations along the way.

Etzioni (2007) makes presentation that the people look to the government to ensure their national security against forms of terrorism and other breaches of security. If the people feel their security is infringed they may take matters into their own hands to ensure their protection which may be in violation of criminal codes or against the democratic standards of our nation.
