Business proposals obviously are designed to make the business functioning and to stipulate the main characteristics of its future arrangement. Taking into consideration the changing conditions of the business world, it is necessary to design the business proposal in a way most suitable for the evolving needs of customers and changing conditions of work, which is essential for the success of every business undertaking. Business proposal is highly significant in every business sphere because it “will enable you to communicate your solutions effectively and persuasively to your customers” (Sant, 2004). This is why the present work will put a business proposal as a subject of research to identify the main areas for consideration and particular attention with the purpose of further efficient design arrangement thereof.

The first issue to be discussed in the business proposal is the ‘who’ issue. It is important for every entrepreneur to define the key participants of the business process – who will be responsible for particular business operations and for the overall business activity of the firm in order for it to face no challenges in its daily operations and to ensure the customers’ satisfaction in case of any emerging problem. There should always be the sufficient number of staff members that are able to fix problems with the customer service of any type. In case the services are provided well but there are no company’s representatives who are able to find the solution to any customer’s problem efficiently and in a timely manner the company will never enjoy popularity. All customers are apt to choose the company that will support them in any challenge faced by them concerning its goods – otherwise they see no benefit in using the services of this particular company.

Besides the overall involvement of the staff in the solution of various problems that may arise in the working process, it is essential to distribute the responsibilities beforehand, in the course of arranging the business proposal. This method has proved to be highly constructive in the context of employee commitment to the work done by them further on in the process of the business proposal implementation in life. This issue was recognized by Adams (1996) who arranged a separate paragraph devoted to the involvement of staff into the working process:

“both for business and annual plans, you need to have key employees create their area budgets. Then work with them until you are satisfied. Have key people get together to get any disagreements out in the open. The more input people have in creating the plan, the more responsibility they will feel toward it”.

The second issue that needs to be considered in the process of composing a business proposal is the necessary scope of actions undertaken for this particular business action. It appears vital in the context of considering real-time activities that have not been planned thoroughly – the situation may change in such a way that a company will not be able to accomplish the task in time and the final product will not be produced. This is the most unlikely situation in any company, so the required scope of actions should be stipulated beforehand with all possible alterations in case of some sector or industry change. This is important in terms of considering costs of production on which the cost of the product depends directly. For this reason this part of the research proposal should be thoroughly thought over to eradicate the possibility of potential losses in the process of direct production.

The ‘where’ issue is also essential in the course of arranging the business proposal – if the company has certain capacities in one country or in several countries it has to think about the target customer segment that will potentially become their purchasers. If the product planned in the business proposal is planned to be distributed in some other country or region, the way it should be distributed has to be constructively planned to avoid further expenses for delivery that may reduce the company’s profitability and will finally lead to lack of financial success of the whole business plan.

The ‘how’ question concerns the practical issues implied in the particular business proposal. The way the products will be produced, deployed, managed, hoe much time this process will take, what benefits this process will bring to customers etc. – these are the key issue to be considered in the process of arranging the business proposal. The main reason for this is that the changing market conditions presuppose a certain level of flexibility of any business process that would give the entrepreneur an opportunity to alter his or her business operations according to the market changes.

The issue of arranging the production of a certain good in the time context it is also essential to think about all possible implications that the company may face in the process of its activity. This is why the time of production as well as payment and delivery terms have to be arranged in the most profitable way for the customer to increase the product attractiveness. The ‘why’ issue is the final stage that should justify the choice of the present guidelines for business arrangement and to explain to the customer why this product will be beneficial for him or her.

The business proposal in then changing world is rather hard to be designed because of the previously stipulated high level of uncertainty requiring high level of flexibility of the company. However, it is always necessary to remember that the main thing for the entrepreneur to understand is “how change is affecting us and why we need to embrace it” (Kotter, 2007). Regarding these issues, it will be completely real to design the business proposal in such a way so that it would find its target customer groups and would enjoy great popularity in its segment of the market.
