Research Paper

Despite the fact that Obamacare’s primary goals are great, the ends do not justify the means. What is meant by this is that taking money away from Americans who have worked hard throughout the years just to serve a less fortunate class of individuals who may not necessarily have enough wealth to purchase their own insurance is not fair. This is because Americans who have worked hards all of their lives in order to attain a noteworthy amount of annual income should not have to suffer at the expense of poor individuals who do not have the necessary funds to take care of their own insurance. Due to the fact that some individuals are so persistent on the fact that Obamacare is doing a great favor to today’s American society, a variety of individuals are tricked into thinking that Obamacare does not have any negative impacts. In reality, however, the impacts created by Obamacare are so grave that American society is bound to decentralize from its true meaning. What is meant by this is that if Obamacare continues to impose its toll on the wealthy, elite classes of the United States of America, then the results could be dangerous, as individuals would be attempting to find manners though which they could get around the idea of having to pay for other individual’s insurance.

The fact of the matter is that those individuals who do not have the necessary money to afford insurance should find other means by which they can afford insurance. Despite the fact that some of these individuals might be unemployed or even hospitalized, they could very well take out loans from banks and pay those loans back within a given amount of time. However, taking money from the rich in order to give it to the poor is not justified. Doing this makes the United States of America appear as if it is working to achieve a communism economy, in which all individuals have the same possessions, regardless of the kind of job that every individual has.   In order for the justice system to be applied here, individuals must become cognizant of the actuality that every man should focus on improving his own situation, not using someone else’s great circumstances in order to improvement oneself. What is meant by this is that Obamacare continues to impose its toll on the wealthy, elite classes of the United States of America, then the results could be dangerous, as individuals would be attempting to find manners though which they could get around the idea of having to pay for other individual’s insurance.

The reason as to why Obamacare should be seen as a threat to the American Dream is because of the manner in which it is taking money from the rich (in the form of taxes) in order to help the poor. This is not to say that the poor should not be helped, but there are other methods in which they can be helped. Obamacare is both immoral and unpatriotic because of the manner in which it is taking the money in the form of taxes without the rich people’s consent. The American Dream revolves around the idea that anyone who is willing to try in America can make it. This Dream is one that has stood out from any other dream for years. However, Obamacare completely disregards the American Dream. It does so by not paying heed to the fact that those individuals who are not employed and are not even trying to make it in America are still getting free or reduced insurance.

A major reason as to why the American Dream is crushed by Obamacare and everything that it entails is because it is a way of telling the upper-class Americans that despite their best efforts to live a good, comfortable life, the government will still take away their money. The fact that the wealthy Americans have no say in this matter is by itself irrational. In a way, this goes to show how the government can exert force on all of its citizens whenever it feels like it. In my opinion, Americans should be able to decide if they want to help the lower-class citizens or not. However, taking money from this upper-class without permission should have never been enacted into a Congress. It would not come as a surprise if there were a multitude of upper-class Americans boycotting certain services because of the manner in which the government did not pay heed or even consider the fact that they may be uncomfortable with Obamacare.

Although Obamacare seeks out to do great things with the manner in which it seeks out to provide insurance to all kinds of individuals in the United States of America, the manner in which it is being implemented is not the right way to do things. As a manner of fact, because of the fact that the government has opted to undergo such a law, many Americans might initiate to consider doing illegal actions in order to hide their money. Not to say that this is a certainty, but many Americans who disagree with Obamacare and the fact that they may have to be paying for other individual’s insurance might  resort to money laundering in order to avoid having to pay extra taxes. Another option for these individuals who would be in the same boat is that they may start to avoid taxation, which will ultimately lead to a lot of individuals in legal conflict.

It is a true shame that things could come as far as to result in illegal activities, but Obamacare in itself should be considered an illegal activity. This is stated because of the manner in which Obamacare is practically stealing money from individual’s income just to pay for other individual’s commodities. This “commodity” that is being referred to is none other than insurance. Sure, it might look great on paper that the United States of America has found a manner through which all citizens are able to to be insured for whatever happens to them throughout the course of their lives, but at what cost? The cost for this is that the elite Americans will not only want to stop paying for certain service, but they will also disagree with a lot of President Obama’s future courses of action.

Another reason as to why Obamacare is killing the American Dream is because it is giving Americans a train of thought such as  “Why should I work? The government will take good care of me anyway.” If and when individuals adopt this kind of ideology, then no one will want to work to improve society in the future. Though this sounds dramatic at best, some individuals might consider this train of thought and start to think that their efforts to improve American society have been futile. The end result of this kind of ideology is that individuals will stop caring about attaining the American dream. Not only will this affect individuals subjectively, but it will also affect the economy. Less and less individuals will want to work, considering the fact that the government gives the best assistance to those individuals who most require it. Of course, this is not to say that individuals will want to purposefully be poor so that the government is able to pay for the majority of their services, but the low-middle class could very well opt for this option.

One of the worst things about Obamacare is the manner in which it places taxes on common services, even tanning! Surprisingly enough, Obamacare goes as far as to remove money from imperative sources such as hospitals. The fact the hospitals are being placed a tax so that low-income individuals are all able to get insured goes completely unjustified. If it was immoral and unjust that the elite class be charged a tax from their personal income, then the idea of placing a tax on a hospital is completely grotesque. The reason as to why this is said as such is because the money that is constantly being used for giving low-income individuals insurance could be used for better purposes by hospitals. Examples through which hospitals could be making better use of their money is by using more money on discoveries that could better humanity. Through these discoveries, individuals would not even require insurance because of the manner in which humanity could prove to be more healthy in the future.

Because of the manner in which Obamacare does not take into consideration individual’s personal thoughts on the act, it should be considered a completely failure. Despite the fact that a variety of individual’s lives will be enhanced, this enhancement will have come through great sacrifice. The purpose of the United States if for each and every man and woman to have his or her own voice. In other words, the United States is a democracy. However, the actions that were taken by the United States were not at all democratic.

If Obamacare continues to impose its toll on the wealthy, elite classes of the United States of America, then the results could be dangerous, as individuals would be attempting to find manners though which they could get around the idea of having to pay for other individual’s insurance. In order to ensure that nothing like Obamacare every happens again, the government should ask for individual’s opinion on what kind of acts should be passed and what kind of acts should not be considered in the slightest. Through this, the maximum amount of individuals will be satisfied. Despite the fact that there is nothing wrong with the idea that the United States of America has of helping out the maximum potential of individuals, the methods are not justified. Sure, there are certain measures that should be taken in order to ensure that all citizens of the nation are being taken care of, but taking money from individuals who have worked hard throughout the years in order to obtain that certain amount of money should never be considered a viable option.
