Research Paper

Accenture has a unique business model that allows it to potentially employ different knowledge sharing and management systems. While all of them would potentially work with the organization, there are certain elements of the organization that make one knowledge sharing strategy effective. The embedded knowledge sharing strategy is the most effective for Accenture.

The embedded knowledge sharing strategy is particularly useful for the company for a number of reasons. Delineated Products, Processes and Services; the company offers clientele a number of delineated products and services. With most of the processes within the company being well defined, and embedded knowledge sharing system is best suited.

This strategy can be executed in a number of ways. One of the most common is scenario planning and debriefing. This is integral in helping the business create possible scenarios for the business’ operations and discuss on potential differences that would manipulate the result to their favor.

System Integration is an important part of the embedded knowledge strategy. System and processes integration combines relevant parts or elements of the functional areas of business so as to create a seamless flow of information and efficient use of resources. This allows for different business units to share information during production, increasing efficiency and reducing error margins.

Technology is an important facet of the embedded knowledge sharing strategy (Russ, 2010). The company has to considerably invest in technology that links or connects different aspects of the company’s business process so as to achieve the optimal level of information flow within the company.
