Pages: 1

Words: 268

Research Paper

Yes, I have been worried about not being able to access health care for myself and my family. A lot more Americans usually are worried about healthcare bills compared to regarding their job loss, payment for mortgage. “35% Americans report they are very worried that the amount they pay for health care services or health insurance will increase. Some are really worried about other health issues not being able to afford prescription drugs, 24%; declining quality of care, 23% not getting needed health care, 21%” (Morone, et al., 2008).

Let’s get this point out of the way upfront, all people need health care insurance. Yet with job losses when it comes to recent years, firms cancelling their employees’ coverage and also the financial impact of independent plans spiraling out of control, billions of people currently have been forced to drop coverage when it comes to surviving (Janicic, et al., 2011).

I currently have used the particular mini clinic that they have opened at retail outlets by thousands. Thus, that has been truly the only option for me personally that would go right now there. I went to clinic at Walgreens. They diagnosed the problem and give me medications. Total financial impact was less than 50 dollars for that visits, additionally, $63 for the prescriptions. Now if I had a plan then cost would be $20 for the office visit and $10 for the medications.
