Accounting Internship Narrative Assignment, Essay Example

Greetings! My name is X XX and I am a recent graduate of Atlanta Technical College. The purpose of this narrative is to show you how eager I am to learn all the different aspect of the accounting field by means of joining the Coca-Cola accounting team.

My passion for number has grown steadily since I was just a little girl. Though there were numerous obstacles I had to face, it did not prevent me from discovering my great potential and love for accounting and finance. This internship will greatly assist me in embracing the accounting procedures and concepts, and, moreover, help me to enhance the knowledge I have received in college: the knowledge that is going to be a key to success in the actual working environment. Any experience that I might acquire during this accounting internship will give me a boost in my mission to become a CPA accounting and will be a building stone in my conquest to turn into an expert in the field. I am a fast learner and, needless to say, I will work hard and burn the midnight oil to enhance my skills and sharpen my abilities. My long-term objective is to advice people to make wise decision in the financial sphere and show them the right way to overcome financial problems.

Furthermore, taking part in this internship will provide me with a chance to improve my resume, showing that I am a well-rounded accounting specialist, who is capable of utilizing her resourcefulness and expertise in the accounting field. AACUC (African American Credit Union Coalition) has given me a remarkable in-sighted on what exactly is required to be a successful accountant. One of the major turning points, which call for prolonging and developing my accountant coursework, is the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. In 2007, Atlanta Technical College foe the first time became a VITA Tax Site, and I was an actual pioneer in preparing and launching the program. In those few months I was able to manage several families who had certain financial difficulties to fill their taxes electronically. AACUA grant had tremendously helped my community.  Another experience that received from the program was learning how to write winning resumes.

There is sound evidence that letting me take part in this internship program would be mutually beneficial.
