China’s air traffic control operates inefficiently as opposed to the United States. As a state controlled agency it needs much help from the aviation industry in updating its seriously outdated system from the impending growth in the air traffic. In order to first get into the program they must meet the requirements of Student Air Traffic Control Officer. Like regular school, they must passes several subjects, language, aviation studies, communicate effectively in English, medically fit (physically and mentally), and pass the selection process. China’s flight delays are major problem especially since the country has one the largest eastern hubs, which has been exacerbated by the rapid growth in China’s domestic air services. Training from knowledgeable operations is essential in their air hubs performing at optimum peak.
