In relation to the alternative energy incentives discussed in the persuasive paper,

I plan to use four visuals taken from Google images that could be either included in the paper as photos or projected via PowerPoint. The first two concern the state of Florida’s solar projects that were made possible by federal and state grants. One of these images illustrates the DeSoto Next Generation Solar Energy Center that covers approximately one hundred acres and is located just outside of Orlando; the other image illustrates solar panels on the roof of a home with the capacity to generate 3.2 kilowatts of electrical power. The second set of images illustrate the state of Illinois’ “Smart Grid” electrical system with the first showing solar panels and wind turbines in the city of Naperville, and the other depicting an electrical meter (“Smart Meter”) for ConEd, one of the state’s largest utilities.
