An Ethical Obligation, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 365

Essay

Country is our mother land, and if it becomes difficult for a country to live in existence than it is the prime responsibility of its citizens to serve their country. This is certainly commendable and a top responsibility of all citizens to serve their country when there is a war.

It is sounds awful when a country fights with another country. From an ethical point of view, it’s also unfortunate as in war thousands of lives get wasted for no reason. Problems can be solved over the table; a practise must be conducted to avoid wars. I fully agree, as wars do not provide any benefit to countries: the one defending itself against aggression and of a rich country coming to the aid of a weaker country that has attacked unjustly as lots of resources and lives gets wasted and no one gets the benefit out of it.

Employer must have an ethical obligation to maintain an old yet unproductive employee, employees are the asset of the organization and if employee is old but he has served the organization since few years. Employer can pick any contingency plan by hiring a new individual as his assistant. If an employee has a problem in his career than employer is free to fire him by giving him retirement benefits.

The responsibility of unproductive employee is to try to be productive by doing further efforts. If an employee is in his last years then employer can retire him with retirement benefits.

It seems quiet unethical that a junior employee has blackmailed the senator, and it’s also senators weakness that he has released the bill after being blackmailed. The bill was of enormous importance for thousands of worker. I would have solved the situation the same as the junior employee did. Its unethical to threaten a person based on his personal scandal but sometimes it’s becomes necessary for saving thousands life and jobs.

Under this situation, I will launch the advertisement as being an employee It’s my duty to help the organization in making a profit. My ethical responsibility will certainly not allow me to do the job. Ethical obligations will not let me to do so as it is equal to cheat public.
