What are some points that should be taken into consideration when selecting an IM training program?

The important consideration with IM is that it should be applied in conjunction with other training models. This combination enables each of the training models to provide unique training opportunities while providing reinforcement from other learning models. The combination of learning methods has been demonstrated to increase the effectiveness of the on the job training. The discussions which are guided by the instructors are usually of substantial assistance to the delivery of interactive media. The characteristic of the trainees experience in the SimuLearn programs enable the discussion of the trainees’ learning experience (Blanchard & Thacker, 2010; Jin et al., 2013).

In addition, the trainers’ enthusiastic perspective for the material contained in the training facilitates the trainees’ learning and involvement. The trainer supplies the evaluations and the responsibility which are deficient in the IM. The trainees have the capacity of formulating questions which are not covered in the IM. All of these considerations lead the trainees to have a deeper comprehension by means of interacting socially (Blanchard & Thacker, 2010; Jin et al., 2013).

The IM training systems have the capacity of providing training which can be directed toward any training goal. The training can be as fundamental as providing rudimentary knowledge or as intricate as instructing the manner by which to provide diagnosis on cardiovascular disorders or enhancing organizational communication skills (Blanchard & Thacker, 2010; Jin et al., 2013).
