Dreschler hotel offers a catalogue of excellent services and on average; it has achieved satisfactory success in the period postulated by the appendix. However, some aspects of the hotel have adverse impact on the revenue capacity of the hotel as posited in the appendix. In order to attract and maintain occupancy levels to substantial levels, it is imperative for the management to address certain issues affecting the stay of individuals at the resort.

The rooms should have a wider variety of reading materials and recreational facilities to cater for the targeted patrons. From the description, the rooms are suitable for family occupancy implying that children and grown-ups have to be catered for. Thus, the range of magazines and reading should include aspects of pop-culture, which is a major attraction to the younger generation. The location in a rural area provides a wonderful destination for individuals from everywhere who would like to experience the serene environment from the congestion in the urban locations. However, being away from town necessitates access to information that is available through media services. The local channels availed through the tubes in the guest rooms do not provide the much required updates regarding the life at home for the visitors.

A characteristic of Arizona is the significant variation is day and night temperatures owing to the climatic conditions. As a result, the visitors would require heating and refrigeration facilities. However, the guesthouse does not provide such facilities, thus limiting the options available to the guests. As a means of improving customer satisfaction, the management should invest in such room facilities.

The daily charges have translated to low occupancy levels and huge opportunity costs. Management has a choice to improve the revenue and reduce the opportunity cost through reducing the daily rates. Marginal reduction in prices or an incentive scheme would improve the occupancy level and improve revenues even if profitability is not amplified. Long-term high occupancy rates will eventually translate to profitability.
