The Need for Analytics and Cloud Technology

The Organizations are working on the How to better control over sensitive data in order to participate in today’s economy. Moreover, they also using strategies that are new innovate, posses’ value and managerial skills related to sensitive information. Cloud computing is not a primary reason to reduce costs associated with infrastructure, total cost of ownership, as it is about agility for the proof of concepts, testing, production, development and operations. This is all about innovation to the products that needs to give an impression to the end users or consumers and find customer loyalty or competitive edge. Cloud computing is relevant for Bid data as it enables to expand computing capability along with data storage that can be expensive, as big data needs massive data storage. Modern organizations are likely to be 170% more when compared to the chasers for using cloud based analytics services. moreover, 130% organization are utilizing cloud computing for customer relationship management, and 66% organization are using cloud computing for solidifying their relations with Information Technology and business and other are utilizing cloud for integrating social, big data, mobile and analytic technologies (Newswire, 2014).

In the near future, the Information Technology transforms Cloud technology policies from customers towards organizations. In terms of huge data transformation, marketing strategies are used in order to double the size of business i.e. from 34% to 72% (Newswire, 2014).  In fact, a number of companies are implementing Cloud Computing policies to get into the competition and enhance their business skills. The Cloud Computing is included in the tool kit of business holders to take part in the data transformation and annalistic strategy (Newswire, 2014).  The importance of data only depends upon its vitality therefore; static data is not utilized by the Cloud Computing policies. The importance of data can be judge during the execution of business transactions as how the operations and policies are obtained. In order to benefit the business by earning profit stability must be maintained for the security, expenses, outgoing data management and risk. The organizations are utilizing more and more information innovate techniques are used to meet the requirements of clients. Conversely, this would risk the organizations by generating expenses due to continuous use of same technique for huge data. In fact, this kind of behavior is now a day’s becoming mandatory in all the organizations due to the necessities to incorporate with the competitive market and social media. A BIG Data and Analytics solutions are used for the fulfillment of following requirements (Newswire, 2014):

  • Investigate the large amount of data.
  • Execute alteration on big data sets.
  • Manufacture analytic models.
  • Control huge data successfully.
  • Manage expense.
  • Understand Risk viewpoints.

For any organization business policies are making a connection to understand virtually the concept of Big Data, analytics, social media, and cloud computing (Newswire, 2014) policies for data transformation (Newswire, 2014). The implementation can be done easily in order to meet the requirements of innovative business needs. On the other hand, all the procedures such as procurement process, retailer assessment, the licenses, the specialized services are time consuming and cost maximizing for generating new business. Therefore, Cloud Computing technology is use in order to improve business skills by the Organization holders. The main advantage of using Cloud Computing is that the products and services are improved without any hassle.  Also the time is cut short and all the procurement procedures are completed in no time allowing the transactions from the credit cards. In addition, the freedom of cancelation of services is another feature of Cloud Computing services. For the new organizations, Cloud Computing is the best choice in terms of low cost and fast services. However, for other organizations such as the Obama presidential campaign and Netflix Cloud Computing is offering its services at par. It is not easy to implement an innovative capability within organization such as buying hardware and plug in and play due to heavy cost for this quick service. Moreover, other factors are also responsible during the implementation of new capabilities such as, procurement procedures, retailer estimation, executive service charges and license. The organizations are now utilizing Cloud Computing services to improve their business products and to minimize the solutions that are time consuming. However, to meet the needs related to the demand of customers Cloud Computing provides another exclusive feature to cancel and mention new services at any time. The main feature of Cloud Computing is that it is budget friendly and provides service quickly and easily (Newswire, 2014). Moreover, the Cloud Computing is used for the campaign carried out for Obama. However, it is fail to gain the expected voters as mentioned “Despite running a campaign with about twice the money and twice the staff of Governor Mitt Romney’s presidential bid, President Barack Obama’s campaign under spent Romney’s on IT products and services by $14.5 million” (GRIFFIN & DANSON, 2012) . In the year 2012, the 95% of Information Technology services are utilized for the civilians by the Netflix with the help of Cloud Computing. The research states that “that a company making $3.7 billion annually can run some of its most critical workloads in the public cloud” (GRIFFIN & DANSON, 2012). The Canadian companies are also bind to adopt cloud based services because cloud service providers are now providing products and services that are exceeding customer expectations in terms of service levels, information security and substantial saving on infrastructure cost. Forrester research has prediction of the public based cloud market that is set for a ‘hypergrowth’. Likewise, the research organization also expects the growth of global public cloud market to reach at almost $191 billion by the year 2020 (GRIFFIN & DANSON, 2012). This is a substantial difference by 20 percent, when compared to the last forecasted report by Foster published in April 2011. Likewise, the increase on these prices from the market is approximately $58 billion by the end of 2013 (GRIFFIN & DANSON, 2012).

Workflow Diagram

The sequencing of steps is conceptual, as it is assumed to be one of the business processes of an organization. The arrows are pointing out to the flow from one stage to another.

The example given above is based on a concept, as initially the focus is on the analytical results from raw data. Likewise, the first step incorporates importation of data in a program ‘R’ powered by a script for performing analysis and cleaning. The next step incorporates a quality control for identification of outliers and sort erroneous data along with identifying any missing data. Moreover, the raw data has been put to analysis for generating mean temperature and brininess associated with the location along with identification of any erroneous envelops from the data. In the end, results are presented in the form of graphs along with mean temperatures. Finally, graphs are produced to display the resulting mean temperatures. Formal flows are also called executable flows, as they are implemented in an analytical pipeline and every stage can be deployed in dissimilar software/applications. Moreover, every stage along with its attributes is recorded formally and usability factor is also available, as all stages and overall workflow can be reutilized. Likewise, these scientific formal workflows are now in the process of development, as they will assist scientists to make documentations of their workflows. The pipeline analytics will enable and empower scientists to utilize their workflows efficiently and to process metadata along with documentation. Every stage of the workflow that is available in the scientific process workflow, deployment to dissimilar systems can be made easily. Likewise, within the process of conducting analysis, every process within the workflow is recorded along with the parameterization and requirements.  Hence, this enables both the individual process flows can be reused both by the scientists and any other person (Newswire, 2014).

One benefit for using Cloud Analytics

The cloud computing technology continues to penetrate deep within every function of the business and become a part of every business process standard operating procedures. The world has witnessed the era of talent management software and human resource that gives a provision of payroll size, talent management of employees and capability of generic organization development. Likewise, one primary advantage incorporates the availability of cloud based analytics, as this flavor will not be compatible with every function of the business. For instance, if any organization need analytics, cloud based analytics will certainly provide many advantages that may not be limited to only reports. Likewise, Good analytics is a product that is accessed by cloud computing, as it facilitates one to visualize on the massive data sets and provide information to make critical decisions that will enable the organization and business goals more approachable and agile. Moreover, analytics can be of several forms and shapes, as they can incorporate:

  • Online monitoring of online presence along with search engine campaigns and marketing
  • Identification and errors that may have an existence on different forms that interacts with the employees and client

Evaluating and calculating return on investment on different marketing campaigns, cash flow monitoring for both inbound and outbound for the billing system for identifying good client paying their dues on time and defaults clients, who do not pay bills on time. Organizations are still seeking all-in-one analytic tool that can be utilized for getting the various pieces together, as every cloud based solution has many sources to find analytics and they are not labeled in such a way. Likewise, a cloud based environment may comprise of hundreds of millions of users who are accessing the same system and dissimilar analytics are recoded for each of these users, as each and every one is not doing the same task. A good cloud service provider will assist and facilitate an organization to learn from the behavior of their old customers along with the activation of service level agreements and non-disclosure agreements that will ensure that the data is secure.

The benefits of the workflows involve scientists who can utilize these workflows and document them. Moreover, a single point of access can be a point of multiple accesses across the applications. Furthermore, they will facilitate the team associated with the research to monitor and track their analysis, as the research can be utilized by someone else. In addition, the stored documentation and workflows can be considered as a high level metadata that provides substantial potential for the community of the scientists and prevent them to do any repetition for tasks, research, in spite, it gives collaboration for other scientists, researchers to analyze data.
