The Girls.Inc organization is one unified group that provides as strong hold for young girls who simply want to make a difference on their lives and on the lives of others who they can particularly affect. With the diversity of the members that the organization serves, I have been blessed to be a part of it and actually make a difference on the lives of other individuals to whom the organization offers its support and services.

Along the process of helping others, being with Girls.Inc helped me grow personally especially in relation to the aspect of dealing and working alongside a diverse group of individuals. Working with older women who are specifically determined in helping others allowed me to see the real worth of what I was doing and actually reap the results of growing forward and seeing the real value of camaraderie, friendship and unity. Understandably, such consideration over the most compelling issues of being a girl and reaching one’s dreams have proven to be a united goal for the group and has made me realize that in aiming towards an achievement, one cannot be alone; it is always worth it to have someone to support and guide another for the fulfillment of that dream.

Being a team player is an important aspect of considering one’s desire to achieve something. In this specific factor, I have grown so much as I have enjoined the system of operation that Girls.Inc follows. It has allowed me to overcome the fear of working with others and realize that it only through the culture of unity that one, even a minor group, could be able to fulfill certain dreams that they have in mind. Being a part of the fulfillment of another’s dream is indeed a source of satisfaction on the part of those who have helped out in the process.
