Akhanaten

Known as the 18th dynasty pharaoh of Egypt, he is noted for his promotion of the monotheistic religion in Egypt. Noted for such idealism in religion, most of the sculptures and works on Akhenaten depict monotheistic beliefs. He also championed the presentation of family portraits through hieroglyphics and stone-defined arts. Among the most famous works that were produced during the time of the pharaoh are the couple images usually etched in stones, scenes of worship as defined by Akhenaten himself, head stones of his own image and the presentation of love of parents to their children usually presented in hieroglyphics.

Salvador Dali

Known for his skills in being a draftsman, Dali was able to enter in the world of movie, media and photography. He is noted to have a distinct love for almost everything. Among his most notable works included the Dream of Venus surrealist pavilion, the Port Ligat house found in Cadaques, and the Teatro Museo in Figueres. He also co-created with the film Un Chien Andalou with Luis Bunuel. Aside from this, he was also recognized with his works in fashion photography which featured surrealist outfits that often outtakes the usual clothing known to the era he is presenting his works to.

William Blake

Known as a poet and printmaker, he is now considered as a seminal figure in arts. Among his best works were mostly religious. These works include the books All Religions are One and There is no Natural Religion which were both released in 1788. Other works included Europe a Prophecy, Poetical Sketches and The Song Liberty. These works, though not as celebrated as other’s works during his time, were all worthy of being given valuable attention by the public.

Edvard Munch

Noted for his paintings with psychological themes, Munch was not only considered an artist but as an expressionist as well whose works get recognized in the field of psychology and human sciences. Among his most prized works was that Seine at Saint-Cloud (1980); Death in the Sickroom (1893); Anxiety (1894); Evening Melancholy (1896) and Separation (1896) which all featured specific aspects of human psychology and human nature all defined through art and visual presentations.

Matthias Grünewald

Noted as a German Renaissance painter, most of his works are religious in context. Among his most celebrated works are The Mocking of Christ (1503); Christ Bearing the Cross (1523); Large Crucifixion (1525); Stuppach Madonna (1517) and Establishment of the Santa Maria Maggiore (1519). These works all have a distinct theme in representing the Catholic Church accordingly during his time.

Agnolo di Cosimo: Bronzino

Known as an Italian Mannerist Painter, his works are most often than not relatively connected to personalism making portraits among the celebrated piece of his works. Among his works were Portrait of Lorenzo Lenzi (1527); Pieta (1530); Holy Family (1534); Adoration of the Bronze Snake (1540) and the Portrait of the Lady in Green (1530). These portraits spoke so much of the facial expression that makes his works human.
