Attending North Harris, a public community collage located in Harris County, provides students with a plethora of opportunities to obtain a degree in over a hundred fields of study. Such access to different programs and degrees would enhance my career goals because I will be able to study in different types of program certifications at a very low cost. North Harris is renowned for its diversity and is a truly international campus because students go to study there from over thirty countries around the globe. Interacting with students from different backgrounds will enhance my life by learning about the educational experiences other students have gone through. Moreover, I embrace cultural diversity as one of my core values, so learning about others who come from different cultures and who hold different beliefs will allow me to gain perspective on my own core values both inside and externally to the classroom. Many graduating students from the Academic ESOL program–a program I am intrigued by–move on to earn either an Associate’s or Bachelor degree in various professional fields. I believe that North Harris will assist me in communicating better at work or assist me in finding a new job that I would love. Beyond my educational goals, I belief North Harris will also enhances and drive me to improve my day-to-day life.

Studying in the ESOL program in North Harris will ultimately incur a lot of support by a very qualified group of professors. Such an opportunity will unequivocally help me cultivate communication skills needed in order to fully understand and become ensconced in American culture and society. I look forward to enhancing my educational skills in order to pursue a career path that I am passionate about while connecting with interesting people and going through inspiring and unforgettable experiences. North Harris provides me the opportunity to do both.
