Autumn Walk, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 256

Essay

People always rush attempting to solve their everyday problems. Each day passes unnoticed until some extraordinary event in one’s life happens. Trying to reach some materialistic goals people are concerned by their activities only, but at some point they just simply need stop and look around.

Once I walked home from school thinking of what should be done. It was an ordinary day and I did not realize it would make me analyze my past and my future life. I just felt happy as my day at school was over and that I would have plenty of time to spend with my friends. As it was early autumn, leaves did not fall down from the trees until the wind blew. I glanced at the big old oak and noticed a leaf that scratched slowly from it and began to fly away, being caught by the airstream.

One can suppose that there was nothing special in it. Nonetheless, it made me think about my life. Like that leaf connected to the oak I live now with my parents who support me. I clearly know what will happen tomorrow. However, autumn may be associated with the old age. In few years my parents will get older. I will finish my school and then college. Finally, like that leaf falling down I will be driven out of my common environment. I will have to support my own family, have my own children and house. That event made me think about my life in general, not just simply about some single episode.
