The subject of this essay is the quality of social marketing and the businessesthat can be foundmarketing on a social media site.  The following questions will be explored; 1).  Explain how all of the four Ps in the marketingmix are addressed in this particular social media site.  2.).   Examine the influence of advertising in social media.  Have you ever been personally influenced to make a purchase based on the social media site?  3). What are the factors that persuaded you to make the purchase? 4). Explain how you think social media sites will affect marketing in the next five years.  The answered to these questions will be explored from the perspectives of Drell (2011), Friesner (2014), Walters (2013) and Zarella (2009).

The business that is to be reviewed for marketing is using Facebook for promoting restaurant5s.  More than 845 million consumers are available through Facebook.  The Facebook social media provides transparency for restaurateurs.  In addition, Facebook enables restaurateurs to educate their fans.  Furthermore, Facebook enables the restaurants to show their menus and specialties online.  The restaurants have the potential of posting video s that demonstrate the techniques and the personalities of their establishments.  The press reviews are available online.  Everybody has the necessity of eating at one time or another.  It is very easy to be enticed by a restaurant when the menu is online, credit cards are accepted and the menu is readily available (Drell, 2011).

The marketing mix is promoted through Facebook.  The four Ps are presented throughFacebook by the following means.  Facebook generates the majority of its corporate income through advertising.  A business page can be conceived.  The business page is an excellent means of engaging in relationship marketing.  Facebook presents its service for free.  Advertisers are able to administrate their advertising by establishing daily or permanent budgets.  In addition,Facebookis available everywhere online.  The products can be promoted online to 845million Facebook users (Friesner, 2014).

Restaurants that present online menus and pictures of specialties on Facebook while accepting electronic payments and making home, deliveries are very hard to ignore.  Social media sites will change marketing in order to expand the 4Ps marketing mix (Drell, 2011).

The factors that would cause anyone to make a purchase from an online restaurant are the marketing mix.  The price and the promotion are available.  The place is online and the productis food.  Yes, many purchases have been made through online restaurants (Drell, 2011).

The trends that are perceived to increase are founded on location base marketing.  This is an increasing trend due to the increase in digital based media and the actual access to the social media sales experience at any time.  In addition, the commonly known brands could begin the development of production studios.  These are the increasing trends that are anticipated in the social media (Walters, 2013).
