Students who are not on campus face barriers to accessibility to various academic resources. The graduate college provides various supports both physically and virtually,  but students who are not on campus who are commuters do not access the resources in the way that the supports are provided. Many students would mention facilities such as the library, which is available both as an online resource vis-a-vis the virtual library and databases and as a physical resource on campus where the students and faculty alike could check out books or put books on reserve for a particular class. Recommendations for commuter and part-time students include recording various lectures and workshop for subsequent use when off campus. In addition, the findings reveal that e-mail facilitates fast communication between students and their professors, yet as a communication mechanism at the university, it remains ineffective despite the fact that everyone has access to it. As such, the marketing strategies and techniques deployed by the school are effective to an extent. There are a plethora of different strategies for marketing because of diversity within the student body and various obstacles some students have because of their background for effective communication.   Such diversity has resulted in uneven results and thus fails to meet the needs of certain students in such a diverse university. The university provides a vast array of academic supports, yet they are not being accessed because they are not conducive with such a diverse university population. Full-time and part-time status does have a bearing on whether or not students access the various academic supports, which underscores the necessity for the university to better cater to students who do not live on campus and who are not full-time by more effectively using the internet. There are marketing strategies in place, but they also do not adequately meet the needs of a diverse student body. It is integral that all students have access to the various supports available to them in order to enhance the quality of education they receive and be better prepared for life post-university.
