Bird’s Eye View of Spring, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 240

Essay

The view of spring is different above the grounds than below, but both are bright and cheery. From above, the Earth is no longer a sheet of white, but a slow transformation from brown to green, marking that life is once again dominating the surface on the planet. While the world smelled of frost for many months, the smells of nature have returned; the neutral smell of hibernating plants is no longer and has become replaced by slowly returning fragrances that will eventually overpower the senses and become comforting to both those flying above the clouds and exploring the surface.

The discomforting sounds of silence that the winter brought are now gone and replaced by welcoming tones that beckon me to examine them more closely. With warmer weather has come certainty of comfort; no longer will I have to search aimlessly for food as the Earth is now abundant with it. There is a lesser reason for me to fly at all during this warmer weather and I feel safe knowing that the Earth has returned to life.

I am no longer forced watch the planet above the clouds and from the trees as its guardian; rather, I can return to it and be a part of life, just as I have in the past and will continue to for many spring seasons to come. I will mark my presence with a loud tweet, lest anyone forget the warm pleasures of spring.
