Book Report “Twilight”, Essay Example

Pages: 2

Words: 593

Essay

Twilight according to experts, it is an episode that revolves around Bella and Edwards’ romance. Twilight is not any vampire story that you might have read before. It is worth noting that this is a unique book, almost in its own genre. Even though the book hits in the market as a young adult reader, it can comfortably cross boundaries to feed both the adults and teenagers alike. This essay will demonstrate a general report on the above-mentioned book.

Firstly, it is good to note that, the narrator has perfectly brought out a phenomenon of the first person point of view. This is as per the evidence that is demonstrated in the book, where the narrator narrates his story on the perspective of Bella. This makes the reader to understand only what she understands and so, both the family of Edward and Edward himself is made a mystery that is gradually unraveled in the entire book. The writing in the book is simple and at the same time, beautifully written for the benefit of the reader. This is evident in the manner by which some characters are described in the book. For instance, the description of the forks makes the reader feel like he or she can hear the rain falling on the roof, and at the same time smell the damp air that is illustrated in the novel.

Secondly, romance outplayed in the motion between Bella and Edward is both compelling and touching. Their impossible love brings out a melancholic feeling, yet they are determined and that they are not ready to give up on the ground that their relationship is not working. With the alterations of pitch in the book, it totally touches the heart of the reader. One of its outstanding alterations is when the Romance between Edward and Bella turns to a frenzied chase to stay alive.

Notably, this book according to statistics, it is suitable for everyone. If you are that person who likes vampire, this is your book, if you are the fun of romance; still this is your book. Therefore, it is worth noting that the book is appealing to any person, as long as he or she is a reader. The only challenge here is the length of the book. It is evident that the book is considerably long. However, that cannot put a reader off, since each page brings a new enthusiasm in the readers mind. This book connects directly with teenagers because, in discussing promise and passion a s a first thing that love offers, without mocking or patronizing them, teenagers automatically falls in love with this book. In demonstrating love, a thing that many teens will wish to try out, the book gives escapism into the universe where an individual you love, reciprocates by loving you back in the same hopeless dedicated manner.

This book, counters the notion that many people has that, in today’s’ world, divorce is the order of the day. Systematically, this book gives hope to teens that, there is a possibility of loving someone trustworthy and stay that way. Through Edward and Bella, readers can note that it is possible for everyone to have a soul mate, only if their impossible scenario can be made possible.

Criticizing it, the only noted criticism is that the book has religious undertones, which comes out apparently when reading it. Again, the book simultaneously over describes Edward’s perfectness and constantly attempts to put Bella down in the comparison. This brings out a tiring effect after a while, a thing that might prove to bring out unrealistic phenomenon.
