Building a Lego Police Spaceship, Essay Example

A lego is a toy. It can be built to represent a number of feature. For example, in this assignment the lego built was a police space ship. The purpose was incorporating a technical writing protect practicing skills on describing how an item is made

The materials used in building the toy could be toxic to some persons so it would be wise before selecting the specific material to read the materials for warnings. This would avoid any allergic reactions while assembling the kit.

Steps in order

  • I began building the space by ship reading some instructions provided in a police space ship lego kit
  • I then began taking out the materialspurchased and try interpreting their use according to instructions
  • In The next step I looked at photographs of space ships and designed my own police space craft.
  • Each part was matched with those on the photograph in verifying if I had received all the items needed to build the lego
  • Some parts were difficult to identify so I asked or help understanding the instructions I had read prior to begin building the lego.
  • After trying to place the parts together while watching at a photograph and reading the instructions our first attempt was unsuccessful.
  • I then placed the pieces I have made together beginning with the space ship body; the police parts and  several pieces for the moto and seats.

The final result

After 4 hours of working the police space ship was built using instructions from a prefabricated kit.
