Caprice Paryrus 02 picture by Yoshitoshi came out as a picture with one central attention: the girl portrayed in the picture. In this piece of art, we see a lady who is very smartly dressed. She is seen holding a red flared skirt in a manner as if she is flossing a little, and feeling herself. On her torso, she seems to have lazily placed a leather jacket as if unsure of the weather. On her head she has a little white hat, similar to that worn by Jews. Of more significance is of many faces, which can be view from different points of view. From the image, viewers of the picture can depict different emotions from the faces of the girl. Therefore, in my opinion, artists use these pictures to show other emotions of people. The girl in the painting of this picture has many faces, all which portray different facial expressions. The girl can be seen to smile at one of the faces and in another she seems to show pain. The girl wears a decent dress to mean that she is well off and since she seems a teenager, the art seems to express the different phases of life that young people go through.  Therefore, a deep connection and understanding can be depicted from the illusions created by this picture. Another example of art that seeks emotional connection is Mark Rothko’s colorful painting of 1960 orange color painted against dark purple field was made a flat color paint. The changing shapes and the variations in the depth of the colors help connect with the feelings of the viewer and also creates an illusionistic image in the person’s eyes viewing the image (https://youtu.be/qHSS-Ztxc0c).

Exploring the picture of Banksy of 2018, we can see that the painter is trying to show the various changes needed by the viewers of the pic in many ways. In the name of the paint, the painter suggests that people should store the color in a different form to experience a different feeling. The painter uses a deep red color that seems like blood an indication of horrific message is being passed. The painter drew a person next to the words who seems to have a frowning face, an indication of anger emotions. The painter is a street painting to mean that the intention of the painter was to get the attention of many people as possible. An example of this scenario is in art by Andy Warhol of 1962 whereby the painter challenges us to rethink the perception of art that people have because people expected art to be a complex drawing of people but instead he goes for fine art which he used to indicate the transition of production and understanding of the painting. Finally, speaking of the art of drowning girl by Roy of 1963, we can see the struggles that a woman is going through. In this picture, the lady is seen to be crying. She seems to be either in distress or despair. This is evident as she is seen sinking/drowning in water. However, despite the lowly point she seems to be in, it seems that she’d rather perish than ask for help from one Brad. The audience of the art might not know what Brad did or what he might be responsible for, but is seems his actions might have left a bitter taste in the mouth of the lady in the art. It might be because he hurt her, t might be because he has disappointed her in such a situation again in the past, whatever the case it may be, the bitterness or anger she was left with, left her with the felling of her preferring to drown rather than ask Brad for help. In this picture, the girl seemed to be trapped in the waters, but instead, she prefers the worst to happen to her than call a man for help. An example of art with the same subject matter is that of untitled by Carrie Mae for 1989; it is a form of art whose subject matter involved the participation of women and their role in a home and the space around the kitchen table where most of the feelings of everyone in the family are expressed. In my opinion, the art was a sharp picture indicating the values of women in society (https://youtu.be/8wBEqPrgUDY).
