Reflect on and discuss the national quality resources available to you in developing your own institution’s quality improvement plan. Which resources would you consider critical to your improvement plan and why?

The most effective resource I have is the utilization of the worldwide web in determining how my institution affects a relatively large group of individuals; thus getting their attention into supporting the goals of the institution. Being a national quality resource, the internet could bring in the right people together to work towards a national goal, allowing everyone to embrace the benefits of becoming more productive in the way they handle healthcare situations that require their attention. Necessarily, organizations today embrace the aspect of defining their growth and expansion through the utilization of the different beneficial tools found over the internet. Creating a web-based information portal about the institution, its causes and its goals, would not only make it known to many, but would also empower willing members of the society to provide the support they ought to instill in the hope of giving assistance to the stakeholders of the institution.

This improvement plan does not only involve creating a working website for the institution; instead, the creative manner by which such website would be used as the primary communication tool of the organization with the general community population is what adds higher value to the said plan. Noticeably, not everyone understands what the institution is about nor what it is for in first glance. Explaining such matters through integrated animations and other entertaining patterns of informing the public would best help the community understand the real value of the entity. This will provide the organization a better hold of the interest of the primary individuals they aim to target [whose support they could use as part of strengthening the manner by which the goals of the organization are accomplished accordingly]. In this case, the web-based knowledge that I possess would be one element that would be most critical in the way I handle my improvement plan. Given that the institution is dedicated to improving community healthcare, it is expected that such addition to the function of the organization would bring better ease to the people as they are to know more about the services and assistance that the institution is ready to provide them with.
