Choice of Political Candidate, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 277

Essay

I feel that Candidate B and I have a lot in common and his personal beliefs in taking care of his fellow man the country over is exactly how we think alike, his views on people being treated equally is another thing that we have in common based on our thinking. Candidate B thinking that everyone should be paid equally is something I always thought as well because greater would the increase in worker productivity if everyone was getting paid the same wage, jealousy between co-workers and insecurities between couples would decrease substantially because everyone would be getting paid the same thing. Universal healthcare is a godsend and ideal because there are a lot of people who can’t afford healthcare for themselves let alone others, Candidate B has my vote.

I didn’t like Candidates A because their beliefs and personal ideals put a lot of people in bad situations, Candidate A believes that success should come at one’s own two hands. I found this to be a problem because people cannot succeed without help from other people or their government. Without complete assistance, it will be hard for people to survive let alone be able to provide for themselves and this upheaval will more than likely cause people to work longer hours just to be able to feel accomplished; leaving people to their own devices in a state you govern is not ideal. People need assistance at some point in their lives in order to succeed and be able to do more, feeling safe is one thing, secure another but the issue here isn’t safety-based. It is all about the government helping people which Candidate A doesn’t understand.
