Chong Qing China, Essay Example

Pages: 4

Words: 1041

Essay

Chong Qing China is a place where everything could be expected from. A place where all matters come true; a place where all dreams come alive; this is what Chong Qing is all about. The diversity of the culture and the people living in the area makes the city a living community that provides the people with  all the balance that they need to thrive and to live life to its fullest.

Diverse as the area is, a massive sense of environmental change is experienced from day time towards the night time. It could be realized that with the distinct course of development that happens in the city, the people adjust accordingly to the being of each individual and the changes that are happening around them as well. The beauty of the city comes alive in the morning, but at night, everything else changes. While people see the grandeur of Chong Qing in the morning light, the night opens up the people for other matters offered by the city itself. It is during the night that the streets get filled with garbage on the sidewalks while people pass through them as if without any care. The night life in the city caters to the desire of the people to become more sociable and directly involved with their peers and other individuals living around them.

Public transportation, like public buses and taxis, is developed but lots people, who are busy with their work, drive their private clear and fast cars.In the large and fancy grocery stores, full of local and import fresh foods, residents can buy any supply from around the world easily. But they have to go to the local small simple restaurants to enjoy the amazing spicy Chong Qing food, like authentic Little Noodle, which is made of noodle, lettuce and all kinds of sauce; this dish seems simple but it is extremely hard to make it tasty, and people can only eat this noodle in Chong Qing. Different cultures mix there and create amazing elements to attract people there.

Residents of the city enjoy their life whether or not they are rich, pretty or ordinary, noble or mediocre. The commonbusy and low-income working men may hold college degrees while some of the successful businessmen who own export companies might not even have finished high school. The comparison between the rich and the poor families are so extensive that it has become a common trend to see the rich ones overtly stressed about their lives while the ones who have lesser riches are able to enjoy more of their time with their families doing the things they love the most.

Beauty is an important matter, and fashion is also part of the culture of the people in the city. For instance, ladies dress up like they are for fashion shows in Paris, yet men wear clothes that make them comfortable. As all Chinese know, Chong Qing is famous for pretty girls. Yet, pretty girls are all over the place, some of them are sexy, sweet, and pure who strongly enjoy time and complements from peers and from people surrounding them. However, for those girls who are ordinary, they also live happily since they have other entertainments to spend on, like books, movies, and shopping. The noble doctors who save the bloody wounded in the operating room with on complain, and the doctors arehappily to see the pain reliefs from the patients. Infants sleep sweetly in their mother’s arms. Taken care by the most precious nurse they have ever had, the young ones are well protected under their mother’s care. As they grow into mature individuals, they become more accustomed to embracing what life offers them with. This is what good nurturing is all about and somehow, beyond poverty lays the best things that life could ever offer.

Learning through the picture that I see in the community, especially the conflicting diversity that exits among the people, I see how important it is to give value to the least expensive matters in life. The term “the best things in life are free” comes alive as I see through the basic facts that surround the city that I live in. I am but a tiny bit of the community that makes up the whole being of the city. I have been able to see what it means to become one of the individuals who see more than just what the eyes meet. Practical living comes from being contented with what we have and doing what we most enjoy. The disparity between the living condition of the rich and the poor continues to echo a differential presentation of what real life is about. Understandably, it could be realized that with such consideration on truth, I am able to measure a distinct course of seeing and recognizing the blessings behind all the possible misfortunes that I have been experiencing. Remaining positive in line with the desire to survive life itself gives me a sense of satisfaction especially when it comes to realizing what real life is all about.

Living in Chong Qing taught me so much about life. It has allowed me to become more expressive of what I want, to understand more about reality and to accept more of the facts that come along my way. I have long tried to seek a better meaning to life, and somehow, being able to see what Chong Qing offers amidst all the diversities and imbalances in the community has given  me a better vision of accepting what life offers at a much positive vision. I have seen what life offers fully and I have learned how to accept matters as they happen, envisioning them as part of the many lessons that I am still about to learn from life itself. The experiences I gain from life as I keep living in Chong Qing allow me to find a better meaning to my personal being. Like me, I know other individuals also feel the same way, especially in seeing what they can be alongside the desire of becoming more than what they are as they embrace the concept of development and diversity that the city itself offers. This city has allowed me to see the reality of life more than what I have ever expected it to be.
