Coursework

Climate is the measure of temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure for a long time on the earth’s surface. Alteration of the typical weather of a given place for an extended period is referred to as climate change (“Climate adaptation and climate mitigation”). To avoid these changes over time, minimizing the amount of gases from greenhouse is suggested.  Controlling emotion of these gases would prevent the atmosphere from heating to extreme temperatures warming. In addition, using clean and renewable energy sources and avoiding deforestation are other mechanisms to counter global (“Climate adaptation and climate mitigation”).

Global Warming

Global warming is observed long-term heating of the climate system. The heating is caused primarily by human activities, e.g., burning, which facilitates the sky-scraping levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Linked to climate change are increased temperatures, drought, and insect outbreaks (Shaftel).

Carbon Credits

Carbon credits are an exchangeable certification allowing an individual to emit one ton of carbon dioxide or equivalent greenhouse gas. These credits are obtained by projects that eliminate greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere. When a project gets rid of a metric ton of greenhouse gases, it is awarded a carbon credit (“What Is Carbon Pricing And Carbon Credit? Definition, Countries, Trends”).

Maintain Pollution Free Environment

Pollution control starts from a personal perspective. Individuals should involve themselves in afforestation strategies. In addition, using eco-friendly products should be everyone’s objective. In general, the reuse, reduce, and recycle strategy would help counter pollution (“5 simple ways to reduce pollution – Daily Times”).
