Stress is the body’s reaction to internal stimuli or physical tension. Stress may arise due to anxiety or frustration about a particular situation. Stress can be acutely arising from tension of having to meet a deadline or chronic arising from pent-up emotions. It can be dealt with through exercise, connecting with people, or seeking professional help. Lifestyle is the opinions, behaviors, and interests of a group or individual. It can also be described as the way of living or basic character of a group or individual. A healthy lifestyle is characterized by mindfulness, self-development activities such as reading, planning, and individualism.

Health refers to the optimal balance between the physical, emotional, and social well-being of an individual. There are various types of health, such as financial, mental, and physical health. The best way to acquire health is to practice wellness through diet, exercise, stress management, creating a personal value system, disease check-ups, among others.

As a daily self-care plan: taking a balanced diet, preparing a to-do list to avoid being overwhelmed by deadlines, taking five minutes each day to unwind, and ensuring I acquire enough sleep. For the weekly self-plan, prepare a balanced meal plan, set goals for the upcoming week, prepare a budget for the week, and allocate myself an allowance. Additionally, I could attend a social gathering or interact with others and do one creative thing, such as drawing or art crafts. Lastly, ensure that I exercise at least three times a week or do an activity that helps me unwind, such as riding a bicycle.

Monthly, I would prepare a goal list for the month while taking a moment to review the month’s activities, create a budget and analyze the monthly spending habits, and lastly, come up with affirmations that align with my values. Yearly as a self-care plan, I would take time to review the year, come up with New Year resolutions, review previous resolutions, and ultimately come up with a goal list for the New Year.
