The implication of community policing is application of philosophy which supports promotion of organizational strategies through the use of systematic techniques to solve problems affecting the community and forming partnerships between the law enforcement officials and the members of the public. Consequently, issues of safety to the general public including crimes and social disorders are addressed. Three important components are incorporated in community policing and they include transformation of organizations, solving problems and community partnerships (Stevens, 2002).

The effectiveness of community policing can be analyzed from the view point of its contribution in addressing social disorder as well as crime in line with service delivery by the police. All citizens are actively engaged in molding safer communities and safety as well as prosperity is promoted in the society.

Community policing is anticipated to propel in to the future because it facilitates reorganization of the police to become more effective in addressing the needs of the community. Violent crimes including homicides as well as robbery have drastically been reduced and hence the level of safety has gone up in the community thus facilitating for he flourishing of businesses (Stevens, 2002). It has also encouraged the police to adapt strategies that facilitate for the management of change through commitment in leadership and patience. In due course, the policing strategies that used to be aggressive as well as proactive have been replaced with more community friendly strategies which consequently reduce the rates of robbery as well as homicide cases among the community.  This therefore is an indication that community policing has a bright future for the benefit of the entire population
