Continuous Improvement, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 330

Essay

Continuous improvement is a tremendous competitive tool that many companies are embracing. Therefore, it is crucial to learn how organizations can improve their customer’s experience by adopting continuous improvement. The company needs to understand the customers’ expectations in their quest to implement the strategy. The company should start by collecting data about their customers. They need to understand the customers’ attitude towards the products they offer and the improvements they can implement to enhance their satisfaction (Slack & Brandon-Jones, 2019, p. 48). The company should investigate various product aspects, such as pricing, quality, and quantity. The organization should ensure that the customer care staff is well trained to execute their duties. The company should embark on providing solutions to the issues raised by the customers. They should always update the customers on the progress of the solution. Adopting the continuous improvement strategy will benefit the company greatly.

There are several reasons why a company should embrace the continuous improvement strategy. The strategy promotes great customer experience hence giving the company a competitive advantage in the market. The company will enhance customer loyalty and increase net sales (Slack & Brandon-Jones, 2019, p. 58). If the company meets the customers’ experiences, its net profit will increase due to increased sales. Organizations need to continually keep improving their services to ensure that they meet the current market demands. The strategy will ensure that the company aligns its operations with the current market dynamics. It can help the company achieve innovation as it upgrades its products and services to meet the ever-changing market dynamics (Jacobs & Chase, 2017, p. 36). Therefore, continuous improvement helps a company achieve a competitive advantage in the market.
