Essay

Applied Solar Inc is one of the notable organizations in the energy industry that tries to champion in producing and distributing renewable energy resources. It is basically dependent on establishing its roots based on energy management applications; elements that create a positive impact on how current resources for energy are being specifically used in a more sustainable approach. Concentrating on providing constructive and systematic energy management options for huge establishments [such as buildings and other large work spaces], the company aims to help organizations reduce the cost they pay for getting relative energy resources for the sake of operating continuously. They also aim to reduce the carbon emission that large business establishments are noted to contribute to the environment.

With these primary purposes that the company is currently dependent upon, the three statements of the organization provide a more distinct indication on how they propose to completely handle their responsibility towards the society. Taking the initiative of embracing their possible role in pioneering towards the creation of more sustainable power resources for business establishments, Applied Solar remains one of the most recognized responsible organizations around the globe. Not only does the company install solar panels to the buildings, they also equip the administrators with the knowledge that they need to have in order to have the capacity to establish renewability as the culture of the organization.

The three statements of the organization could be noted as follows:

Mission

It is the main goal of Applied Solar Inc to provide organizations and business establishments with the capacity to become independent energy users. Applied Solar knows that energy is an important aspect of operation for many businesses worldwide. However, because of the careless use of the resources from which energy comes from, it has become an evident problem that the environment at present already suffers from such careless attitudes. Preservation and conservation of what is still left to be used by the upcoming generations is then a necessary step for organizations today to take into account and Applied Solar is ready to give a hand to those who take their environmental responsibilities seriously.

Vision

Given that the business organizers and operators are given the basic information they need to know about solar power and its practical utilization in business operations, it is the vision of Applied Solar to reduce energy use cost among business entities to at least 34% within the coming three years. Installing solar panels for homes is also one of the goals of the organization which partakes with the overall vision of reducing energy utilization among members of the society that the company serves.

Values

Dependability on the desire of assisting organizations and households towards realizing their core responsibility to the environment and the natural resources they use every day to function properly, the operational values Applied Solar tries to embrace is specifically dependent on the introduction and promotion of sustainable living among particular members of the community who have the capacity and will of getting into the distinct position of empowering the people to take the higher route in developing an energy-sustainable culture among all.

Relatively, these statements provide a distinct strength for the organization as it tries to establish the values that it specifically depends upon towards the society it hopes to serve and influence accordingly. Considering that the world today is very much aware of the environmental conditions it has to face, people become more alert and enthusiastic towards accepting other alternatives when it comes to finding resources that they could use to produce and use energy at a more sustainable approach. This makes the organization more desirable, especially for business operators and households that aim to follow the distinct process of preserving the environment.

Nevertheless, due to the current economic situation or status that business operators need to contend with, the option provided by Applied Solar may seem to impose large concepts of investment that might not be fully attractive to some. Understandably, this is the reason why the organization needs to realize that their current system of operation need to conform with the economic capacities of the individuals and institutions they want to influence in the community; otherwise, not being able to contend with such requirement may render their desires and purposes as an organization useless if not impractical for many people at present. Adjusting the pricing and the materials could perhaps make their approach more desirable for many thus turning around the weakness into something more of an edge of competitive tool for the company. Threats will always come into account, emerging smaller companies promoting the use of alternative energy resources would specifically come into existence in the market. Instead of hindering the company’s capacity to serve the needs of the society, such instance of competition should serve as a huge opportunity for research in the aim of improving both the products and services provided by the organization to the human communities they entail to serve.
