Creative Thought Matters, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 234

Essay

Creative thought is responsible for almost any interesting and useful invention or idea. When people combine their own imaginations with practical ideas, they can achieve almost anything. Putting a man on the moon, the internet, and even the modern telephone are all excellent examples of what can happen when people think creatively.

Another good example of a result of creative thinking would be the internet sensation that has taken over the world, Facebook. This phenomenon combines the practical idea of people communicating and networking with the imaginative idea of doing all of these things without even being in the same room as your friends, family, and co-workers.

In the past, communication was not as complex as it is today. People either talked face to face or perhaps over the phone. The internet, which is another fantastic example of the creative thought process, has changed the way people interact with each other. Just the idea of mass communication without speech is a creative idea on its own. Now kids and adults have this online world they share with one another. You can have friends, share aspects of your life, find job opportunities, and meet new people, all without even leaving the comfort of your couch.

When you combine ideas and concepts that may not seem to fit, you just might create a new social uproar. Without creative thinking, the world would be a much simpler and darker place.
