Religion has a great impact on the lives of Indians and this particular course of development is often defined as the manner by which most of the people live their lives with at present. From the past towards the current years, religion does play a great role in the definition of Indian living and culture.

The art that is presented herein is only one of the most significant religious symbolisms that the Indians recognize to be strongly relative to their religious beliefs. This artistic sculpture is a presentation of the conjugal connection between Parvati and Shiva which further symbolizes the coming forth of Shiva back into the normal life that he had when he was first married to Sati.

The death of Sati was mentioned to have been the reason why Shiva was not able to perform his duties to the humans who he was supposed to protect and give provisions to. Parvati was rather a reincarnation of Sati who the gods specifically has given rebirth so as to bring forth the growth of further better systems of living.

The Brahma and his assistants thriving around the Parvati and Shiva symbolize a course of life’s blessing, a matter that Indians strongly give attention to. In this case, it could be analyzed how this structural creation provides a great indication on how Indians view their gods, life’s fruitage and the essence of conjugal connections between married couples.

At this point, it could be understood that the imagery represented in the sculpture above actually provide a great point of indication on how culture and religion are two specific elements that make up the Indian community. This work of art does not only symbolize the actual history behind the Indian religion and their gods but also provide a great impact on how they recognize live in line with these elemental factors of social and personal development.
