The ideologies of s more liberal society have led to the followers wanting changes in politics and economics. Moreover, the leadership changes during the industrialization era also pushed individuals to demand changes in economic and political policies, hence bringing the ideas of individualistic conservatism.
The painting by degas is from a book highlighting upper-class women’s household management. It is evident that historically, upper-class women were to be taught how to manage their households (Backman). On the other hand, the book indicated the shift in literature, especially in the eighteenth century, that led to the welcoming of women’s literature across the West.
Like Italy and Germany, enthusiasm and enlightenment contemplations animated people in Europe to push for extra democratic forms of government in the seventeenth century. In Latin America and the Caribbean, it awakened people to rebel in opposition to European rule and hope to make their nations (Backman). This was what was going on with the unification of Italy and Germany. During the seventeenth century, neither one of the countries existed as of now. They were isolated into various more unassuming states that sporadically shared affiliations yet different times, combat for freedom. Regardless, people in these states generally had a comparative language, culture, history, and religion; all of that makeup nationalist opinions.
According to author Clifford Backman, trauma is a psychological term that describes the consequences of railway accidents or hurtful events that cause severe psychological and mental effects. In the medical world, the psychological term trauma also can be defined as the effect of sexual assault. The effects of rape, for example, the instant stop of menstrual experience as a result of sexual violation, might cause traumatic experiences.
Famous ancient artists in history have indicated the need for expression of the environment and social life of the artists and the social settings of the societies they lived in. The public’s knowledge of the expression and the typical expressionist artist is often used to defend modern art. When a piece of art doesn’t seem to show reality, most people think the artist was trying to send a message instead of showing reality. Modern art often tries to show how people feel in ways that don’t make sense, but that’s not the only reason why non-realistic art isn’t real.
In ancient writing and art, as described in the Cultures of the West by Clifford Backman, a fit body is described positively since it portrays hard work and self-love. A healthy body indicated a strong society free from social crimes such as corruption. A fit body also highlighted the theme of strength, which metaphorically indicated the hard work invested in making a strong society (Backman). On the other hand, an overweight body is described negatively as it metaphorically depicts a neglected society governed by selfish gains. Ancient philosophers described gluttony as a negative trait and were characterized by behaviors of corruption by politicians. In most paintings, politicians are painted as overweight, indicating their selfish gains in the government.
