The University of Balamand, Personal Statement Example

I am a recent graduate from the University of Balamand where I was pursuing a BSc in Chemical Engineering. I am passionate about having a career in the area of business development. I am currently working as a business development associate at Amara & Partners Legal Consultants.

What makes me a suitable candidate for the course is my working experience. Having worked in business development, I will need little guidance because I have hands-on experience with the theoretical aspects taught on campus. As such, I will be in a position to self-study and conduct research by myself. My problem-solving, leadership and other skills also make me a suitable candidate for the course because they will come in handy when handling my coursework.

As a business development associate, I have learned that making informed decisions in business requires one to undertake studies in business analytics. This motivated my pursuit of a master’s degree at this university. Besides, I realized that I need more knowledge and skills to be in a position to tackle most business challenges. I believe I can attain these skills and knowledge by studying at an international institution like LAU. My passion for being a problem solver also motivated me to gain more knowledge on how to deal with issues in the business analytics world.

 I have chosen an online course at LAU because of its international accreditation. Besides, I chose an online option because it offers flexibility and a shorter time of completing my studies. Also, the online program does not need one to be an expert to be accepted into the university (LAU). Also, I have chosen the university because I will acquire skills that can be applied globally. Therefore, my employment opportunities will increase since I can offer my services anywhere in the world.
