Essay

I like watching movies very much. But I do not always feel easy watching a movie without having some wine. For me to watch a movie that runs for a period of three hours, I must take eight glasses of wine. This indicates that the number of glasses I take depends on the number of the movies I watch. In a day I do ensure that I watch three movies.

This means that the number of glasses per day = 8 x 3 Movies

Therefore G = 8 x 3 M

= 24 M

But I sometimes find myself taking six glasses of wine without watching any movie and if I try to watch them on the same day, I get myself adding four glasses of wine.

In this case the number of glasses will be = 6 + (4 x 3 M)

Therefore G = 6 + (4 x 3 M)

= 6 + 12 M

Linear Equation

G = 6 + 12 M……………………1

G = 24 M………………………..2

Substitute equation 2 to 1 in order to get G

G = 6 + (24 x 12)

Therefore G = 294

From equation 2 we can get the number of movies

294 = 24 M (To get M divide both sides by 24) and the answer will be 12.25 M.

From the equation, it clearly shows that for me to watch almost a movie daily I must drink 12.25 glasses of alcohol, and 24 movies will take me 294 glasses of alcohol.
