Introduction
A cell phone or mobile (also known handphone, wireless phone, cell, cellular phone, cellular telephone, cell telephone or mobile telephone) is a long-array, electronic device that is been used for mobile telecommunications, data transmission (text messaging or mobile telephony) over a cellular network of particular base station which is known as cell sites. Moreover, the current cell phone offers a lot of services which include SMS for text messaging, packet switching for internet access, email, gaming, infrared, MP3 player, GPS, radio, television, Bluetooth, Camera with a video recorder and MMS for receiving and sending videos and photos. However, although the cell phones have a lot of features which are more beneficial to the customers, they also have their negatives side which are dangerous to the human being. (Marie, A., Besser, S., & Yolande, J. 2007)
In the United State, it is estimated that each an every day 60,000 to 70,000 mobile phones are been vended. Also, more than one hundred and ten million Americans use mobile phones. And global wide, it is approximated that over one billion people use a cell phones. Moreover, the number of mobile phones dealers increases day after day across the global due to high demand from the consumers. Nevertheless, Mobile Phone Companies are much more; this has made the cell phone to be a competitive business, hence lowering the price of the product, and this is why majority of consumers are capable of hiring a cell phone.
However, a mobile phone is a microwave transmitter and therefore, is a cancer warning! It’s well known that a microwave usually oscillates at to billions of cycles per jiffy. According to the Cellular Biochemistry Journal reports, it shows that these frequencies root cancer and also other diseases through intrusive with DNA cellular and its repair mechanisms. Moreover, a microwave endorses hurried cell aging. As noted from Italian scientist, they have described that a mobile phone radiation normally makes cancerous cells to grow aggressively. A cordless phone marked 2.4 gigahertz or 900 megahertz releases the similar dangerous microwave like mobile phones. (William, J. 2000)
One of the mobile phone Company known as Motorola has recommended its customers to evade pointing a cellular antenna uncovered parts of the body. However, the independent tests have also come out with a conclusion of saying that, a mobile phone also seep out mammoth amounts of radiation from the mouthpiece and keypad. This radiation normally penetrates into the brain, eye tissues and ear, which are most likely susceptible to microwave. Also, when someone’s uses a belt clip, he/she gives mobile phone a chance of delivering a radiation to the kidney areas or liver when a wired, hands-free earphone is been used. (Toten, S. & Israel, W. 2004)
According to the recent research studies, it confirms that mobile and cordless phone microwave can:
Too much exposure to radio frequency radiation might cause interference with the electrical fields of our body cells. Some of the familiar health problems that has been associated with habitual disclosure to radio frequency radiation consist of:
- Damage to cellular DNA and abnormal cell growth.
- Difficulty sleeping, irritability, depression, and anxiety
- Adult and child leukemia
- Eye cancer
- Suppression of immune system.
- Memory loss and attention span deficit.
- Cause blood cells to seep out hemoglobin.
- Increases bad cholesterol levels and digestive problem
- Create rash on the skin and burning sensation.
- Create joint pain, tremors and muscle spasms.
- Causes induce extreme fatigue and headaches.
- Stimulate ringing! in the ears, damage sense of smell.
- Encourage asthma by generating histamine in mast cells.
Children are at a higher risk compared to adults of experiencing health difficulties linked to habitual exposure to radio frequency radiation; smaller and thinner skulls transformed to bigger radio frequency absorption.
In the year betwixt 1950’s to the mid 1970’s the United State of America embassy in Moscow was persistently been bombarded by radio frequency radiation for twenty four hours a day. The workers at embassy went through what was identified by the perpetrators as Radio Frequency Sickness Syndrome. Also, after some few time of intense radio frequency radiation disclosure, the United State of America ambassador started developing leukemia. Moreover, the blood tests showed irretrievable DNA damage.
What is more, Dr. Jerry Philips who is a biochemist researcher, embarked on investigating mobile phone safety for the Motorola Company within decade ago. After he realized that cell phone has negative impacts to human being health, the company started a delay of this report to be published to the public. As noted from Dr. Phillips, the company was much worried on how to handle these issues to the public in a way that was favorable on their side as a company. Dr. Phillips also said that the significant fund that is made accessible to do mobile phone safety research issues is industry fund. Due to this, he has no faith with the coming out studies.
Nonetheless, you can either use a microwave or radio detector to measure the harmful amount of radiation that your life and also the working spaces are infiltrated by. The detector which is been used in the documentary is known as the Microalert Radio/Microwave Alarm.
Conclusion
A cell phone is a vital tool in day to day activities. It has a lot of advantages but whichever has positive side, must also have a negative side effect. Due to radio frequency radiation, it creates a lot of hazards to human being. Also, currently mobile phones are the most tools which have cause the level of crime to increase. Most of ransoms are asked through phones and also been paid through the mobile phone. In conclusion, I can urge the manufacturing industries of cell phones to come up with new ideas which will decrease the risks of cell phones to human being and also, to provide a manure with a safety measures.
