In the United States, there are currently no single comprehensive federal law that regulates privacy. There are several regulations and states laws that work as common law principles which interact and sometime contradict each other. However, states have been more proactive in passing laws that protect student data, emails, spammers, and other laws. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/31/technology/no-us-action-so-states-move-on-privacy-law.html?_r=0 To companies operating in certain states that must abide by privacy laws, are could be fined, charged, sued, and other negative implications. For consumers however, it ensures their privacy, protects their personal information, and keeps them protected for future internet usage. Consumers could lose out on what they publish, as it could breach several policies at work or other places.

Artificial intelligence is used by several companies such as Netflix, Apple, Amazon, and others that utilize data mining that are able to improve or mimic the functions of the human brain. Neutral networks use advanced algorithms, and other techniques to expose the patterns of people’s chooses to build models that showcase what their perceived interests are. These are placed in configurations and categories that are presented as viable options to the users. The performance center collects a large amount of useful data, however, there are recommendations that can improve the system. These include a filtering process that allows for complicated data to be read clear, faster, and better. A way to process the data that doesn’t take a long time, such as putting in categories. System can give recommendations on ways in which the business can cut cost, and improve production, such as vertical integration, and solving how to reroute resources.
