• Records Management in hospitals – this gives the general overview of managing hospital records.
• Problems with communication in the management of hospital patient-records – there have also been problems with communications in terms of management of patient’s records to ensure the correct surgical procedures are carried out, for example. In cases of emergencies; the first aid team that gets to the scene first tends not to pay attention to these requirements since it is an emergency and one cannot really get the information needed (Kohn, Corrigan & Donaldson, 2000)

Conclusion

Explains that, many health care organizations are looking into improving their patient care with every step being reviewed carefully to ensure the risk of morbidity or mortality as a result of health system error.
