CCDA OSHA VPP Recognition

The Coca- Cola Danone Waters (CCDA) is one of the most secure sites. The Coca- Cola Danone Waters plant has been the recipient of the respected star site acknowledgement. The indexes for workplace accidents at the Coca- Cola are 50%less than the standards which have been applied by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (OSHA, 2009).

Coca-Cola has been able to exceed the safety compliance standards set by the Bureau of Labor Statistics due to its characteristic of applying a learning culture. This has been achieved by taking a proactive stance with regards to the forecasting of problems before they occur. The organizational culture at Coca- Cola has facilitated a learning and growing organizational culture (Goelzer, 2013).

Learning Culture at Coca- Cola

The prestige of being delegated a production acknowledgement was recognized by the raising of flags at their Columbus, OH facility (Noria Corp., 2014).

Conclusion

The learning culture at Coca- Cola has enabled a reduction of injury while promoting the ratings for employee health. These implementations have enabled the management of Coca- Cola and their staff to earn admittance into the OSHA VPP Starprogram.
